RAIN or SHINE

Every year Newtowne Morris begin their busy spring touring season on Easter Sunday in beautiful downtown Boston, starting the first stand on Newbury Street in front of historic Emmanuel Church. The dancing starts directly after the service ends (usually shortly before noon) on the street adjacent to the church. After a brief coffee break we walk down to Copley Square for a second stand about 1:30 PM across from the main Boston Public Library. There is a then another short break for refreshments at a nearby watering hole, and then a final third stand at approximately 3:30 PM on the pathways of the Public Garden beside the pond on the Arlington Street side. Following the tour the team retires to a local pub for a pint or two and the occasional song.
